Join Ms. Molly for fun weekly sessions serving up extra special skills! Molly Corral, MS, OTR/L, is a board licensed pediatric and school based Occupational Therapist with extensive experience working with little ones in a variety of settings. Starting in January Ms. Molly is offering Social While all of the groups will focus on social skills, self regulation, and executive functioning, an emphasis will be placed on the specific needs of the age and group. Kindergarten Readiness Group (4’s & JK)
To prepare students for the next step in their education, this group will focus on a variety of independence skills. We will work on managing big emotions, resolving conflicts, and the fundamentals of social skills with peers and adults.

Kindergarten
This group will focus on Executive Functioning Skills; skills needed for organization, planning, task initiation, and task completion. We will play a variety of games that utilize attention, working memory, cognitive flexibility, self-monitoring, and rule following.

First Grade
This group will focus on Social Skills and Executive Function. Students will work on building and maintaining friendships, conflict resolution, communication, and assertiveness. We will incorporate Mega Cognition (thinking about thinking) which works to improve motivation, problem solving skills, self monitoring, and impulse control.

Second-Fourth Grade
The Group for our older students will focus on Executive Function and Social Skills. Ms. Molly will facilitate collaborative activities with an emphasis on communication, empathy, and assertiveness. We will learn skills to plan, monitor, and evaluate tasks while fostering a growth mindset.

*All groups will have 4-6 students and will take place over lunch; recess will not be missed
